Navy Pier on a hot summer day.

The feeling of excitement complemented by the chatter of hundreds of people, local and tourists, the lake, boats, birds, and local music creates a feeling unlike any other. To close my eyes and hear a soundtrack of the pier would be the whole season in a nutshell.
